The California Golden Bears are off to a great start and we know that the energy our student fans bring to the game adds to our home field advantage. With AT&T Park serving as home field while California Memorial Stadium gets a makeover, we have compiled this site to prepare every Cal student with vital information that will make your trip to AT&T Park smooth and troublesome free!

atandt parkTravel Options
Cal students have several travel options.

  • You can brave the traffic and drive to the game.
  • Take one of the ferries directly to the back steps of AT&T Park.
  • Ride one of the furnished motorcoaches.
  • Take one of the many public transit options.
  • Travel via BART, Berkeley to Embarcadero or Montgomery will run $3.65 (one way) $7.30 (round trip). If you want to take the MUNI Metro from BART, get off at the Embarcadero Station.
  • For those who have Student Season Pass Tickets, take advantage of your FREE Round-trip BART Tickets.

Arriving at AT&T Park and Avoiding a Citation
Student will enter at through the
Marina Gate, which is the entrance along the Portwalk behind center field.
Here are some helpful things to remember:

  • All students MUST bring their Cal ID card for entry into AT&T Park.
  • No alcohol. A full security screening will be conducted prior to entry.
  • Travel with friends and make sure everyone returns to campus safely.
  • UCPD will have a presence at the student gate and will give out $100 citations to students who violate the code of student conduct. And remember, citations given out may mean additional sanctions imposed by the Center for Student Conduct, depending on what was done. Watch yourself!

Safety & Security
Please note that security measures at
AT&T Park are different than what would happen at Memorial Stadium. Here are some things you need to know:

  • Postgame celebration in SF can be fun, but remember the last BART train leaves for Berkeley at 12:20 am.
  • The San Francisco Police Department – non emergency phone number is 415-553-0123
  • If you see violent behavior in the stands, say something! AT&T security and UCPD will be around and be clearly identifiable.
  • If you happen to find yourself on the wrong side of the law and get arrested (e.g. public intoxication, fighting, failure to comply with police, etc…), PLEASE recognize that you may land in a San Francisco jail and not a Berkeley jail. Being in a San Francisco jail is NOT the place you want to be, especially late at night. Plus, being jailed could also include a citation and/or $100 fine.
  • If you do find yourself without transportation, taxi services are also an option. Expect to shell out big dollars though. One way + tip will be around $41.00
  • If you return to campus late at night, please utilize the Free Night Safety Services and remember to take Personal Safety Precautions.

Cal Game at AT&T Park

We have 5 Home Games at AT&T Park scheduled at AT&T Park. Please remember, that start times may change leading up to the game. Check in for official game times at our Cal Athletics Homepage.
