A remarkable coalition has come together to secure the future of the Incentive Awards Program and to make possible its continuing expansion. To date, over $43 million has been raised in endowment funds, planned gifts, and annual gifts from over one thousand donors, led by naming donors the Bernard Osher Foundation and the Gabilan Foundation, in Northern California; Naming Donors David and Emily Pottruck; and Founders’ Circle Donors the Rosalinde and Arthur Gilbert Foundation, whose support sustains program components in Los Angeles through 2014.

Our donors’ support has allowed the Program to distribute over $10 million in awards to Incentive Awards Scholars at Berkeley over the last 20 years, and to augment this financial outlay with a wealth of Program services valued at an estimated cumulative total of $5 million over the same time frame. This year, we are distributing over $1.8 million to scholars at Berkeley, and we are continuing to augment our program in Los Angeles.
