Center for Student Leadership

Established in Spring 2007, the primary purpose of the Center for Student Leadership (CSL) is to offer leadership development resources and coaching to students attending UC Berkeley

Leadership Programs
The Center for Student Leadership provides programs that are guided by cutting edge leadership development models and theories. Students can work on themselves through individual leadership coaching or work with groups through pre-packaged leadership workshops, team building, and challenge course initiatives. 

Student Organizations
UC Berkeley hosts hundreds of student organizations. Student Organizations connect students with a stronger sense of community, develop group building and leadership skills, and serve as an outlet for self expression and sharing of talents. The Center provides assistance with student organization recognition, organization recruitment and retention, publicizing on campus, and event planning.

Fraternities and Sororities
For more than 140 years, fraternities and sororities at Cal have had a rich tradition of campus leadership and community involvement. This long tradition of Greek Life on campus continues today with over 60 recognized chapters.

Cal Debate
The Cal Debate Team is one of the most successful debate programs in the nation, serving to educate our students and enhance the academic reputation of the University.
