Welcome to the Office of the Dean of Students' website! As the Dean of Students at Cal I have the great honor and pleasure of providing leadership and direction for several centers and services and serve as a senior advocate for students. In my role as advocate I work closely with student leaders in the ASUC and the Graduate Association to enhance the quality of and engagement in student life. It is my sincere hope that you will take full advantage of all Cal has to offer you in the areas of leadership development, civic engagement and service, and research.

Our professional staff is dedicated to the holistic learning journey of students and provide a myriad of programs and services that enhance student’s understanding of their values and those of others in the community – all that we require is your full participation in your learning process! Utilizing the Social Change model we assist students in not only developing personally, but in understanding how their development is tied to the larger community and society.
